Scania Awards Stertil-Koni a Preferred Global Supplier Contract

KOOTSTERTILLE, the Netherlands, 11th November 2020  Stertil-Koni, the global market leader in heavy duty vehicle lifts, announces today that Scania, the world-leading provider of transport solutions in more than 100 countries, has chosen Stertil-Koni as their preferred global supplier for their heavy duty lifting equipment requirements for the next three years.

A winning partnership between the two companies which are specialists in their respective fields. Scania has committed in its strategy to drive the shift towards sustainable transport systems and the electrification of the vehicles it designs and manufactures is a crucial part of that journey. Stertil-Koni has been chosen as the global preferred supplier because of being committed to contributing and complementing Scania's strategic goals. Stertil-Koni has more than 35 years of experience in designing and manufacturing, at its manufacturing facility in The Netherlands a complete range of vehicle lifts and equipment which are differentiated and Eco-Engineered lifting solutions for ergonomic and efficient vehicle maintenance and repair. Both companies have been brought together due to the commonality of these goals whereby they are striving to provide safe, high quality environmentally-conscious solutions to the transport industry.

The Global Contract Agreement is for the supply of two of a comprehensive range of vehicle lifts; the Stertil-Koni Mobile Column Vehicle Lifts models ST 1075 (7,500 kg – 16,500 lbs per column) and the ST 1085 (8,500 kg per column – 18,500 lbs per column) and with up to 32 columns in a single configuration if required. Stertil-Koni will also supply several other essential vehicle lifting accessories. Keeping important commercial vehicles up and running, increasing productivity, as well as contributing to safe and ergonomic sustainable working equipment is the goal for the worldwide number one.

Stertil-Koni mobile column offer not only maximum versatile flexibility due to being ‘mobile and wireless, they can easily be moved around the workshop and stored effectively. The mobile column lifts as we as with all of the other types of Stertil-Koni vehicle lifts, are fully equipped with the most advanced and patented safety features, as well as being incredibly easy and intuitive to operate. This is due to the truly intelligent ebright Smart Control System with 7-inch touch screen control which not only makes the operation of the mobile column lifts simple, it provides useful monitoring and diagnostics information for optimum usage efficiency and is user/owner-configurable for absolute user safety and control.
