In-ground Vehicle Lift from Stertil-Koni, ECOLIFT, Customized with New Festoon

A recent project in Chicago shows the inventiveness of the Stertil-Koni team in action.

While installing the award-winning, Stertil-Koni ECOLIFT, the industry’s original ultra-shallow, full-rise in-ground axle engaging heavy duty vehicle lift, a remote festoon hanger was created to keep the work area free of a potential dangling cord. The festoon hanger offers a safe and convenient place to store the remote. What’s more, the hanger is sturdy enough that the remote can be operated while the remote is holstered in the hanger. It is as if the operator has a traveling control console in the work bay. The net result: higher productivity and a safe working environment.

During a recent visit by Jean DellAmore, President of Stertil-Koni, to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) worksite, the customers Jean spoke with said they loved the new festoon because of its versatility and ease of use. Noted DellAmore, “One of the major reasons that Stertil-Koni has grown so quickly is that the company listens to our customers and adapts engineering realities to real life situations in the workshop.”
