The honor, recently presented at the Chamber’s 100th Year Annual Meeting in Streator, Illinois, is designed to recognize and applaud truly outstanding business organizations within the greater Streator area. According to the Chamber, this award is an opportunity to review the best business practices of successful entrepreneurs and to set a benchmark for others. Criteria for the award, which was presented to Doug Grunnet, former President of Streator ALM, acknowledging there based on outstanding growth or growth potential, outstanding management, excellence in customer service, community involvement, and entrepreneurship.
