Jean has been in the heavy-duty lift industry for the last 34 years - the first 12 years with SEFAC and the last 27 years with Stertil-Koni. Jean has multiple academic degrees, including an MBA and MA from George Washington University and a doctorate from UMUC.
Jean has been married 40 years to his wife Carol, has a daughter who works for National Geographic and a grandson. In his spare time, Jean works as a volunteer Docent for the Library of Congress and teaches a part-time graduate course at UMUC in international business.
As the General Manager of Stertil-Koni, Scott brings more than 20 years’ experience leading sales teams in industrial manufacturing, warehousing, and supply chain. Scott spearheads the development and management of the organization’s five Regional Sales Managers, as well as its salespeople who target the U.S. Military, National Accounts, and Shop Equipment customers. Marketing and Operations also report to Scott, who is focused on growing the company sales among its exclusive North American distributor network -- the most knowledgeable and dedicated vehicle lifting pros anywhere in North America.
Scott holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing from Indiana State University where he was a member of the cross-country and track teams. He enjoys running, coaching youth basketball, and is a number one fan when his boys are playing on the lacrosse field.
As Chief Financial Officer, Tore brings over 20 years of high level financial and operational management expertise as well as corporate policies, Human Resources, Information Technology and risk management to Stertil-Koni. In his role, Tore leads all financial aspects of Stertil-Koni including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, interface with the financial community and monitoring of financial performance as well as overseeing all operational aspects of the company. Tore ensures the continued success by promoting sound financial judgment and decision making. Tore has broad international experience and has successfully lead business turnarounds, implementing tough cost management initiatives, exploiting new growth opportunities, acquisitions, mergers, strategic planning and organizational development.
Prior to joining Stertil-Koni, Tore has held various positions such as Accounting Manager for KPMG and Director of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer in several print and online publishing companies. Tore also has extensive experience from managing partnerships, subsidiaries and investments and has held many board of director positions and has been serving as The Chairman of a number of companies. Tore holds a Master of Science In Business and Financial Economics from BI Norwegian Business School and a Management Program from The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
Paul is a recognized marketing expert whose career spans 25 years in top corporate and agency posts. Of note, his background includes building and managing highly focused teams dedicated to delivering high-performance, interdisciplinary marketing campaigns with a keen focus on enhancing brand equity while delivery measurable ROI utilizing a combination of legacy as well as new media. Prior to his role at Stertil-Koni, where he heads all marketing functions, he served as president of his own Marketing and Advertising agency and was a First Vice President at American Express, where he oversaw all marketing activities for the company’s international bank. Paul is frequent guest columnist, the recipient of the Gold Quill from the International Association of Business Communicators, and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and The Harvard Business School. He is an avid sports and music enthusiast as well as youth soccer coach.
Kevin has over 28 years of management experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Distribution, Materials, Logistics, and Fiscal operations. He has worked in the Machinery Manufacturing, Chemical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Direct to Consumer industries. In addition to these fields, Kevin served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps obtaining the rank of Major and has a B.S. in Physical Sciences from the U.S. Naval Academy. He spends his spare time with family while camping, enjoying water sports, working on his vehicles and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Steve Plomin is the Director of National Accounts for Stertil-Koni USA, Inc. With decades of experience as a seasoned sales executive leveraging his extensive background in the heavy-duty OEM and aftermarket industry, Steve is focused on supporting and growing the company’s National Account relationships across North America and providing exceptional customer care. Prior to joining Stertil-Koni, Steve served as National Account Manager for Continental Battery Systems where he was responsible for sales strategy, program development, pricing and marketing for commercial vehicle markets that included truck, bus, agricultural, waste and aftermarket parts.
Steve earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Winona State University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. He resides in Chicago, not far from Stertil-Koni’s North American Production Facility in Streator, Illinois.
Carl Boyer, an established pro in the heavy duty vehicle lifting sector, serves as Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Stertil-Koni USA.
He manages a territory that includes Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and parts of Wisconsin -- supporting Stertil-Koni’s exclusive distributor network serving these states. In this post, Boyer brings nearly three decades of client-focused sales management, business development and customer service experience to this key Stertil-Koni role.
Most recently, Boyer served as Shop Equipment Specialist at Stertil-Koni, where he focused on the expansion of the company’s product line and customer base in the heavy duty equipment field.
Carl and his wife have two grown children and in his spare time Carl enjoys boating, waterskiing and spending time with his family.
Kellie is a highly experienced marketing professional who currently serves as Administrative Sales Manager for Stertil-Koni. Her range of activities is expansive and includes website management, search engine optimization, preparing company submissions for bid opportunities, liaison with Regional Sales Managers as well as the company’s extensive Distributor Network in North America, overseeing and monitoring state and GSA bids and contracts, and finalizing copy and design for product literature. Kellie is also responsible for managing the logistics associated with Stertil-Koni’s presence at national, regional and local trade shows throughout the U.S. Further, Kellie works closely with Stertil-Koni’s parent company, located in Holland, to ensure continuity of corporate marketing and messaging.
Walter serves as Marketing Manager for Stertil-Koni. He has an extensive background in digital marketing, brand development, strategy, and content creation fields. Most recently Walter focused in the legal and non-profit industries. Walter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Maryland of Eastern Shore and is also a DeMatha graduate. He currently resides in Bowie, MD, and enjoys his weekends in Ocean City, MD, especially on the water for fishing.
Robyn has worked at Stertil-Koni for over eight years as the Assistant Warehouse Manager. She has extensive knowledge of all the Stertil-Koni products. Previously she worked at Black and Decker for 28 years as a warehouse supervisor. Robyn’s experiences included part distribution, inventory and warehouse management. Robyn has used these experiences to distribute parts to customers and distributors efficiently.
Jacqueline (“Jackie”) Cullison serves as Logistics Manager at Stertil-Koni. Cullison, who joined Stertil-Koni in 2018, previously served more than 14 years managing ground operations at FedEx.
At Stertil-Koni, Jackie is responsible for all supply chain-related activities for the company including inbound and outbound freight for Stertil-Koni lifts and accessories -- utilizing transportation by means of container, LTL, flatbed, air, international and intermodal.
She is additionally responsible for streamlining the lift ordering process and maintaining ongoing product shipment communications with Stertil-Koni’s North American distributor network, its sales personnel, engineers, the company’s manufacturing locations in the U.S. and Europe and its valued customer base.
Jackie is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at The University of Maryland where she specialized in Logistics, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management. She resides in Stevensville with her husband and two children, and she enjoys traveling with her family.
Tim Kerr is the Engineering Sales Support Manager for Stertil-Koni USA. In this capacity, Tim is responsible for spearheading a range of initiatives including Stertil-Koni’s customer retention strategies, new product concepts and advancing the training of Stertil-Koni’s North American distributor network. He also will be assisting with product development and building enhanced digital pathways for customer feedback. Tim has a proven track record with complex electro-mechanical systems from concept and design to installation and commissioning of industrial equipment. He has extensive expertise in after-sales support, on-site training, systems troubleshooting, and addressing customer concerns. Tim is a graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, with a degree in mechanical engineering. In his free time, he enjoys working and fixing anything mechanical and electrical, including fabricating objects on a 3D printer and utilizing a CNC plasma cutter. Tim also collects diesel-powered vehicles of all shapes and sizes, plays ice hockey and is a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens. He and his wife, their two children, one dog, and three cats reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Brian brings extensive experience to the Eastern Regional Sales Manager position. He served previously as a very successful Manufacturer’s Representative for 18 years with McIndoo Associates. There, he developed and grew direct sales relationships, worked with distributors and focused primarily on the sale of a line of vehicle lift products. Brian plans to use his previous experiences to build stronger relationships with his customers and distributors here at Stertil-Koni.
Brian has an Associate Degree from the State University of New York Farmingdale and has attended Suffolk College with a focus on Construction Engineering. He resides with his family in Huntington, New York.
Glenn Orn, a proven sales pro in the B2B industry, serves as Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Stertil-Koni USA.
He manages a territory that includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, as well as coverage in Newfoundland, Ontario, and Quebec for our Canadian customers.
Glenn brings 26 years of high-level sales experience, most recently serving for 7 years in the Industrial Sheet Rubber Industry as Eastern Regional Sales Manager covering 32 states. During his tenure, he was responsible for doubling sales within his territory.
Glenn holds an Associate’s Degree in Business from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA and attended Central New England College where he took several courses towards a Civil Engineering Degree.
Glenn and his wife Amy reside in Clinton, CT and have a blended family with 7 children. Glenn enjoys spending time at the beach with his family and traveling.
Ron is a seasoned vehicle lifting pro who brings substantial expertise to his position as Western Regional Sales Manager.
Previously, he served as a factory-direct regional sales manager in vehicle lifts, targeting industries that included mass transit, fire departments, utility companies, airports, school districts, and the U.S. Military.
Ron attended Houston University and resides near Los Angeles, California.
Rick has been involved in industries associated with heavy vehicle lifting since the early 1980’s. Following service as a Field Artillery Officer stationed in Germany and subsequent domicile in Germany, he earned his pilot’s license and took a position as Chief Pilot for a large European bus operator. That company purchased an American bus company in Santa Fe Springs, CA and he eventually was sent back to the US and was tasked to be a liaison because of his German language skills. This position was parlayed into representing first Neoplan, USA as a VP Sales and then as CEO of LAGUSA, Inc.. In all positions, vehicle lifting solutions were required.
In 1989 Rick took a position with Automotive Resources, Inc. (ARI-Hetra) and served in various positions for 23 years. Rick has a daughter and a son and four grandchildren. He enjoys travelling to Europe yearly and is still flying Vintage aircraft and driving Vintage cars. Rick’s success and dedication to the principle of ‘Customer First’ caught the attention of SK over the years and the move to SK was an easy transition. Ricks’ motto is that even if one is on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.
Rawn brings more than 33 years of Sales and Sales Management experience to Stertil-Koni. This experience has served him well in his capacity as Central States Regional Manager for Stertil-Koni with the responsibility for managing the territories of the Central US and Western Canada. Rawn has spent his entire 33 years with three companies all of which are manufacturers providing capital equipment to the transportation industry. Rawn served over eight years as Marketing Manager with Star Machine and Tool Company followed by 13 years as both Regional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager with Sefac Lift and Equipment and is currently in his 12th year in his current capacity with Stertil-Koni USA. Rawn has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from St. Cloud State (MN) University with major emphasis in both Marketing and Economics. Rawn resides in Shoreview, MN with his wife Toni and three children.
Radu Pop is the Business Development Manager for Stertil-Koni USA. With a decade of industry experience, he brings an extensive knowledge of maintenance facility operations, technician safety, and recommended practices across a wide variety of fleet types - from trucking and public works to major transit enterprises to his post. On a daily basis, Radu works closely with Regional Sales Managers and top leadership at Stertil-Koni to advance fleet sales - notably truck and bus fleets - and simultaneously support the efforts of the company's National Accounts team.
Emmaleigh serves as Administrative Sales Support Assistant, helping Stertil-Koni sales managers by providing support for National Accounts by communicating with distributors and regional sales managers, maintaining accurate inspection records for customers, and entering in bids and quotes into the company’s CRM system. Emmaleigh received her B.A. in Business Technology Administration from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She has experience in the machine and manufacturing industry, having previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at NRL & Associates, an ultra-precision machine, fabrication, and assembly shop. What she lacks in hands-on experience, she makes up for in her professionalism and work ethic. She is a local to the Stevensville area and resides with her family, along with several dogs and cats. Outside of her professional career, Emmaleigh enjoys crocheting, cooking, and working out at the gym.
Josh Insley serves as Logistics Specialist for Stertil-Koni. He has an extensive background in logistics, purchasing, and inventory management. Most recently Joshua focused in the residential real estate and retail industries. Joshua earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Salisbury University. He currently resides on Kent Island where he enjoys being on the water, power sports, golfing, and family time.
Rich Weinreich serves as the Warehouse Manager for Stertil-Koni. He previously worked in the SK warehouse, providing operational and logistical support to keep orders flowing in and out in a timely manner. Recently, Rich has completed advanced education in Operations, Logistics, and Inventory Management to aid in his promotion to Warehouse Manager.
Michael Tillbery, Service Manager at Stertil-Koni, is a highly professional industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the vehicle service industry – specializing in customer care, technical service and maintenance, service management and coordination, and heavy duty equipment operation. Prior to joining the Stertil-Koni team, Michael – who is a certified vehicle technician – worked for the Maryland Queen Annes County government and oversaw county-wide safe maintenance of roadways, bridges, and overpasses and assisted with critical disaster relief. Previously, he worked for Criswell Performance Car in Annapolis, MD – specializing in Audi and Acura – as a service manager, dispatcher, and quality assurance coordinator. There he was responsible for managing the Customer Service Inquiry level to evaluate the quality of operations and worked directly with service writers, factory representatives, and the warranty department to ensure the delivery of an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
Michael lives in Centreville, MD and is a graduate of the Lincoln Technical Institute as an Automotive Technician. He has four grown children as well as three grandchildren. He is a dedicated Baltimore Ravens’ fan, racing enthusiast and also enjoys working on his 1979 Camaro.
Tammy is the Accounting Administrative Assistant at Stertil-Koni, based in the Accounting and Financial Department in Stevensville, MD. She comes to Stertil-Koni with an established background in administrative sales support – most recently working in the promotional/high-end gift field. She has lived on Kent Island for more than 30 years with her husband and children. Tammy always enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and participating in a local bowling league.
Christine serves as Accounting Manager at Stertil-Koni, supporting the company in multiple areas including accounting, administration, and back-office. In the more than six years that she has been with Stertil-Koni, Christine has successfully taken on increasing responsibilities with focus, determination, and professionalism. Previously, she worked for T. Rowe Price and a local accounting firm. Christine received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Frostburg State University and has lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her family for more than 20 years.
Juliann works at Stertil-Koni assisting the Accounting Department and helping with administrative duties. Julian brings more than 15 years of customer service and administrative experience to Stertil-Koni, having previously served at DKS Climate Control Inc. and at a Maryland based hospital system. In her personal time, she enjoys quality time with family and friends and relaxing on the beach.
Alexis is a CAD Drafter at Stertil-Koni and brings her expertise in interior design, quality control, graphic communication, building information modeling, programming and detail work to her position. In addition, she has hands-on experience in building furniture.
Through computer-assisted design, Alexis creates drawings to plan and layout upcoming installations in Stertil-Koni customer maintenance facilities.
She is currently a student at Morgan State University pursuing a degree in Interior Design. She transferred to the university from Anne Arundel Community College with an associate’s degree in Interior Design and a certificate in architectural illustration. Alexis lives in Annapolis, MD with her dog, “Little Dog.”
Michael is a service technician here at Stertil Koni USA. His previous service technician experiences have included A.B.Dick printing press manufacture co. and Conveyor Handling Co. Michael is a graduate of Rets College of Technology where he studied industrial electronics. He also is a graduate of Maryland Electric League. His expertises in industrial electronics are important here at Stertil-Koni due to the ever increasing electrical and technological advances made to the lifting systems.
Travis Wilks is a service technician at Stertil-Koni who brings a strong work ethic and a desire to become both a master technician and a certified Automotive Lift Inspector (ALI) to our growing company. He graduated from high school in Dallastown, PA but has always called Maryland his home. Most recently, Travis worked for a vendor supplying high pressure fluid transfer hoses to the U.S. Navy where he also became proficient in the use of forklifts and other heavy equipment. In his off time, Travis enjoys hunting and fishing as well as NASCAR.
Bill is Parts Manager her at Stertil-koni and is responsible for procurement and distribution of spare parts for the entire Stertil-Koni product line. Bill has been Parts Manager with Stertil-Koni since January, 2006. Bill came to Stertil-Koni with many years of experience in parts distribution. Most recently as Parts Manager for a Ford Dealership and before that with several large industrial companies as Parts manager for industrial parts and hardware. Bill is a high School Graduate who also holds Adult Continuing Education Certificates in Computer Programming and Blueprint reading.
William Studivant ("Stu") is the U.S. Military/GSA Sales Manager for Stertil-Koni USA. He has a very strong background in maintenance, training and supply chain management, along with logistics, transportation, planning and implementation.
On a daily basis, Stu works closely with the Stertil-Koni distributor network to highlight the benefits of Stertil-Koni heavy duty vehicle lifts to key audiences - notably those in the U.S. Military.
Stu formerly served with the United States Army, and prior to that was with Northrop Grumman Corp. – Joint Logistics Managers Inc., where he was responsible for field maintenance operations. He has expertise in in-ground equipment oversight and helped train personnel about standard operating procedures and supply chain management.
Stu has a degree in Automotive Engineering from Central Texas College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the State University of New York and a Master’s in Business Management from the University of the Pacific.
Amelia hails from Stockton, AL. She completed her BS studies at the University of Mobile in Mobile, AL. She then stepped into a leadership role for Chick-Fil-A, where she served the Middletown and Annapolis locations for 6 years.
Outside of her accomplished professional carrier, Amelia enjoys gaming with her son, Ryker, painting abstract art pieces, and watching Good Mythical Morning.
Greg Watkins, a Baltimore, MD native, comes to Stertil-Koni after serving as an Airman in the US Air Force. He joins the Stertil-Koni warehouse team, striving to keep lifts moving efficiently through the continuous loading/unloading process. He brings pride, positivity, and an eagerness to his work.
He is father to one, and enjoys spending his time fishing, camping, and Ravens football. "City Born, Shore Raised!"
