Elevating Pupil Transportation

Dominion Energy, VA-based leader in power and energy supply, has recently completed the delivery of 50 EV school buses to localities in Virginia. Under Dominion's Electric School Bus Initiative, the largest EV pupil transportation deployment in the nation, more than 3 million pounds of carbon emissions will be prevented each year. 

Manufactured by ThomasBuilt Buses, these EV buses - quaintly dubbed "Jouley" - offer a 135+ mile range and modern amenities for students, such as onboard USB charging for today's connected learner. 

Selected to maintain this impressive fleet are Stertil-Koni's versatile Mobile Column Lifts. Along with a powerful 74,000 lbs. total lifting capacity, the 1085 mobile column lift offersfull undercarriage access for vital maintenance to batteries, drive motors, and thermal management systems located within the bus's frame rails.
