SKYLIFT Automatic Pit Cover Plates

Stertil-Koni is at it yet again. This time our engineers have enhanced the safe performance of its flush-mounted SKYLIFT. The powerful option, Automatic Pit Cover Plates, serve as an extendable floor under the platform lift runways assuring added safety for techs in the shop.

Here’s how it works: Cover plates are attached to the flush mounted foundation of a SKYLIFT and travel up as the lift raises to fill the pit. The automatic pit cover plates lock into place when the SKYLIFT is in an elevated position creating a level surface with a rated 3,300 lbs. load bearing capacity.

Engineered for strength and durability, each plate is made from hot-dip galvanized steel. The fully mechanical operation eliminates the need for additional power or controls for maximum convenience.
