North America's Largest Bus Maintenance Facility Chooses Stertil-Koni

Canadian Stertil-Koni distributor, Westvac Industrial Ltd., in Acheson, Alberta, was tapped to install a portfolio of Stertil-Koni heavy duty vehicle lifts at the new Calgary Transit – Stoney Transit Facility. The bus storage and maintenance structure, comprising 476,841 sq. feet is said to be the largest indoor Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) complex in North America and one of the largest in the world.

For its part, Westvac Industrial supplied 32 Stertil-Koni inground scissor ECOLIFTs, two Washbay SKYLIFTs, and 10 ST1085 Mobile Column Lifts for use in Stoney’s 36 maintenance bays.  That’s a lot of lifting expertise, planning, and implementation! 

And, the media took note. Westvac Industrial’s heavy duty vehicle lifts are featured in a recently-released video spotlighting the opening of the long-awaited, mammoth transit facility.
