Surrounded by turquoise water and swaying palm trees, team Stertil-Koni recently wrapped up its 19th annual distributors’ meeting in stunning San Juan, Puerto Rico. The leader in heavy duty lifts celebrated record high sales for 2014, recognized the outstanding achievements of its dedicated network of distributors, and announced a suite of exciting new products that will take the industry to new heights.
Stertil-Koni’s shining success can be boiled down to two factors: product and people, said Paul Feldman, Director of Marketing. “We produce exceptional products and work with superior people,” said Feldman.
Central to the company’s success is its network of exclusive distributors, which span across North America. A record 97 distributors and associates attended the high-energy meeting in Puerto Rico.
“It was a fantastic meeting, and all our distributors were really enthusiastic,” said Dr. Jean DellAmore, President of Stertil-Koni USA.
All of the distributors were recognized for their leadership in the heavy duty lift industry. Further, twelve of the vendors were further honored by being named to the coveted “Million Dollar Club,” based on outstanding sales and service to customers.
The new members of this exclusive “Club” are: Alan Tye & Associates, LC; D & J Equipment; D.L. Carr; Heavy Duty Lift & Equipment, Inc.; Hoffman Services, Inc.; Liftlogic; Midwest Lift Works; Novaquip; Safetylane Equipment Corp.; Southwest Lift & Equipment; Vendor Network, Inc.; and Westvac Industrial, Inc.
In addition, Stertil-Koni unveiled several cutting-edge new products, including a frame version of the company’s industry-leadingDIAMOND LIFT, an in-ground piston lift that offers superior performance.
The new version only requires a pit frame, not a cassette, so it can save money for customers on installation costs. The new frame version of the DIAMONDLIFT is ALI/ETL certified and offers existing customers of older in ground piston lifts the opportunity to convert to a new model at minimal cost.
Another exciting innovation is brand new automotive adapters for mobile column lifts that allow customers to safely and efficiently lift work trucks with only two columns, instead of the previous four columns.
“That gives customers the opportunity to increase their lifting options,” said DellAmore.
Besides serving as a beautiful backdrop to the distributors’ event, Puerto Rico shined as a reminder of the formidable success Stertil Koni has achieved in 19 short years. The island has long been a critical gateway to the Caribbean; in fact, Puerto Rico means “rich port.” The island is also an emerging market for Stertil-Koni.
So in addition to the festivities and the strategy sessions, the Stertil-Koni family took a little time to kick back, socialize, and soak up the sun. The beach was just steps away.
Next year, the team will reconvene for the 20th annual distributor’s meeting in Los Angeles, California. Until then, the SKY’s the limit.
